Job Title: Lead Service Technician

Time: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.+ overtime as needed
Schedule: Part time to Full-Time
Shift: 1st
Description: Performs and supervises handyman work including but not limited to carpentry, painting, drywall repair and hanging, plaster repair, miscellaneous electrical repairs, minor plumbing repairs, door and window repairs, flooring installation and some minor appliance repair. Assesses and maintains all building facilities as outlined in contracts. Coordinates and plans service requests as they relate to finishes, plumbing, fixtures, structure, electrical, plumbing, etc. Assists Service Manager with planning jobs and schedules for technicians. Performs daily inspection and maintenance of long term projects and develops a plan of action for major repairs and then presenting it to the Service Manager for consideration and approval. Maintains and secures a key cabinet inventory. Provides oversight and support for other projects as a last contact before contacting the Service Manager. Able to communicate company policies related to any project or facilities work.
Qualification: Must have own hand tools. Must have reliable transportation and a cell phone for communications. Previous experience with painting, electrical repairs, customer service and knowledge of the use of power tools. Must be computer literate with basic user knowledge of MS Word, email, excel, and Outlook. Must be able to comply with submitting time and communicating via email. Ability to use and operate all basic carpentry hand, and power tools. Ability to read and interpret documents such as blue prints, floor plans, and schedules. Is knowledgeable in the procedures and safety measure in areas of operation. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the construction field. Must be extremely detail oriented and able to work well under deadline pressure. Must be organized, with the ability to prioritize work, handle multiple tasks, and problem solve in order to provide a high level of customer service and satisfaction. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of customers, vendors and tradesmen. Must have mobility and be able to work in multiple locations. Must have a valid drivers license. Must be able to lift and carry up to 55 lbs, and occasionally up to 100 lbs. The employee is frequently required to crawl, bend, and stoop. The employee is also frequently required to lift and climb a 12 foot ladder. High School Diploma or equivalent required. 2+ years in the field or in a related area.
